About Harrop Lake Wilderness Lodge

Harrop Lake Wilderness Lodge is a remote, premier fly-to fishing and hunting destination nestled on the pristine waters of the Poplar River. You just never know what you are going to pull out of the water once you get your line wet. It could be some lunch, or it could be a 40+ inch Northern Pike, a 30-inch Walleye, maybe a Sauger, or perhaps a Mooneye. Many guests come back year after year and have described Harrop Lake as one of the best fishing lakes in Canada, not only for size but also for quantity.

Secluded Camp and Outposts

We have five cabins with a capacity of 24 people and we are the only camp on the lake! The camp has all the amenities of home away from home: spacious, modern, clean cabins with fully-equipped kitchens with everything you need for your outdoor adventure, including hot and cold running water, washrooms with showers, 24-hour electricity, barbecues, fish fryers, Internet and an ice machine.

If you prefer a more private and rustic setting where your group is the only one on the lake, you are in luck as we have two remote outposts camps—one on Whiskeyjack Lake and one on Head Leaf Lake.

First-class Moose and Bear Hunting Opportunities

Harrop Lake not only produces spectacular fishing, it also has many miles of shorelines, bays and swamps providing the perfect habitat for trophy moose and BIG bears. We offer fully-guided non-resident moose and bear hunting packages. There is nothing more thrilling and exciting than a cool, crisp foggy morning and the answer of a bull moose followed by the thrashing of the willows and the cracking of the bush by one of these Manitoba giants.

Trip of a Lifetime

Whether it’s a fishing trip with your family and buddies or a once-in-a-lifetime moose or bear hunt, our goal is to make your trip the trip of a lifetime. Contact us today to arrange your next outdoor adventure.
